Captive Agent looks to build on knowledge in independent setting

ADDISON, TX: An influx of new agents have found their way to Pacific Crest Insurance. One of those agents is Reginald (Reggie) Thomas Jr. from the Dallas, Texas area. Reggie joins the Alliance after 18 months in the captive insurance setting. He brings a unique perspective to the team with experiences in the Air Force and several high-level sales positions with notable technology companies.

Reggie looks forward to having the ability of “providing other options for my clients. A lot of people I have written business with, I have built personal relationships with. There’s a bigger portfolio I can provide them with.”

Now, after going through Pacific Crest’s quarterly training for new and existing agents, he is primed to unleash his new independence. Reggie learned quite a bit about how to market his business, how to use the systems PCS has put in place and a lot more that is sure to lead him to the promised land.

Reggie did his homework and spoke with some other agents he went to insurance class with who knew about PCS. After his thorough approach was complete, he knew that PCS was the place he needed to be.

“Reggie is a talented guy,” says Pacific Crest Principal, Shawn Webb. “It’s not often you come across a guy like that.”

The Dallas area is one of the fastest growing in the country and has some great opportunity. Knowing what’s in front of him, Reggie is now hungry to start his own shop and put that knowledge and experience to work.

At Pacific Crest Insurance, we minimize agent overhead and provide agents access to industry leading insurance tools so they can focus on what’s important – their clients.
