Independent Insurance Agent, Perry Applebee joins Alliance

With new independence, Applebee is excited to grow as an agent

Boise, ID: Perry Applebee, an Arizona native, recently moved to Boise with his family to start a new path in his insurance career. Coming from the captive world, Perry is ready to learn and grow as much as he possibly can.

Over the last two years, Perry spent his time with State Farm in Woodward, Oklahoma as a producer. He mastered in all that the captive world had to offer, including Auto, Home, Life, Boat, RV and Auto Loans.

Before that, he worked with at risk youth for six years, demonstrating his desire to help people any way possible.

Perry joins the team at the Pacific Crest HQ in Eagle. Speaking about his experience with the alliance thus far, Perry says, “I am impressed with the amazing group of professionals I have the privilege of working with, and the opportunities here are limitless.”

Outside of the office, Perry is very much a family man. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids. Now living in the one of the best places for an outdoorsman, he feels right at home and is looking forward to being able to experience all that Idaho has to offer.

When discussing why Perry saw the benefits in making the switch to the independent world he says, “I’m looking forward to developing long term healthy relationships with my clients where I can connect them with the best insurance coverage at any given time.”

Already having shown his vast knowledge in insurance, Perry has what it takes to succeed as an independent agent and hasn’t stopped since coming aboard.

Connie Landon, Independent Agent, joins Pacific Crest Insurance

Commercial trucking specialist opens her own agency

Umatilla, OR: A new independent insurance agent joins the ranks with Pacific Crest Insurance Alliance. A commercial trucking specialist in Oregon found many benefits in switching over to the alliance out of Eagle, Idaho. Connie Landon, a Hermiston, OR native, recently opened her new office near the Washington border.

Connie started her expertise in the trucking world in 2004 when she took a position with the Oregon Department of Transportation as a Registration Analyst II. She continued to build her knowledge in the regulations and licensing of the industry, giving her a lot of insight.

In 2012, Connie decided it was time to put that knowledge and experience to use in the insurance realm. Now knowing all of the ins and outs that truckers have to abide by, “it was a very smooth transition to the insurance industry,” she says.

Earlier this year, Connie made the jump to opening her own office along the Columbia River.

“The process in becoming a part of Pacific Crest has been a very positive and a very educational experience. I feel very fortunate to have partnered with them.” Connie has taken in all that the alliance has to offer and is poised to grow her agency.

“From computer systems, raters, back office staff and marketing. They offer you all the tools needed in insurance to succeed.”

Connie is especially excited to start writing life insurance, as she recently learned how many benefits there were to quoting and writing these policies. “The staff are very helpful and very knowledgeable.  You can tell that they want to help you succeed which is a very comforting feeling,” Connie says of her time with Pacific Crest, so far.
